I’m still alive. And enjoying life.
Today I was awake at 5:45am and just couldn’t fall back asleep so I went for a walk. 40 minutes of pure bliss. Well except for my ankle starting to hurt but that’s my fault (I wore sandals instead of walking shoes…) And then I created and cleaned and created some more. I caught up on some projects I had almost abandoned. I worked on cards for swaps. I even opened my art journal. I tried to do a page and realized I really hate working in that journal! The paper. It’s just not working for me. Maybe it’s time to start a new art journal… Time will tell…

>Hi Kool! Say..what kind of paper is in your journal I always paint my pages all over first. I gesso them and then paint different backgrounds. I do several different pages . Then when I want to journal, I pick a page that speaks to me. THey don’t have to be in order. yuo sound blissfully creative! Yay!

>Some paper seems to only be meant for writing or drawing on – if you’re not comfortable with it, then maybe it isn’t the right one for you. Journals are so personal – they should definitely be somewhere that we’re comfortable being on the page – hope you find a good match for you…Sounds like you’re definitely having a lot of creative time though. I could use more of that, myself…Hope your ankle feels better!
