Hello dear readers and welcome to The Art of [being] MissKoolAid. For those of you who don’t know about the One World One Heart event, please click on the image above. For those who arrived here via the OWOH blog, greeting!

My name is Sophie and I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I consider myself an artist and crafter though I do have another job as a childcare educator to help pay the bills. I enjoy many forms of arts and crafts as can be seen while visiting my blog (art journaling, drawing, stitching, embroidery, restyling, painting, photography and so on.) I live with a very bossy cat who goes by the name of Diesel. She’s my furry baby and I love her to bits! I’ve been writing this blog for 4 years now and this is my 3rd time participating in OWOH. I’m looking forward to all the new blogs this event will help me discover.
Mon nom est Sophie et je vis à Montréal, Québec, Canada. Je me considère comme une artiste et artisanne même si j’ai un autre travail comme éducatrice en service de garde pour aider à payer les factures. J’aime plusieurs formes d’art et d’artisanat comme vous pouvez le voir sur mon blogue (journal artistique, dessin, couture, broderie, restyler, peindre, photographie et bien plus.) Je vis avec une chatte autoritaire qui se nomme Diesel. Elle est mon bébé poilu et je l’aime à mourrir! J’ai commencé ce blogue il y a 4 ans déjà et c’est ma 3e participation à OWOH. J’ai hâte de découvrir plein de nouveaux blogues grâce à cet événement.

I am offering one (1) prize this year. A set of five (5) linkable notebooks made by me for one (1) lucky winner. This person will choose the color(s) they want for the covers as well as the type of paper for the pages (lined, grid, plain, newspaper, watercolor or a mix of any of these.)

It is that time of year again. The One World-One Heart event is starting today. Click on the badge to go to the main event’s blog where you can find a list of everyone who is offering a giveaway for this year’s event.
This year, I am giving away a handmade button keyring. Well actually, for every 100 comments, there will be a prize. So more entries = more prizes. Which gives you more chances to win.
The key rings are made from metal wire and a variety of buttons both old and new as well as a bead at the bottom (you can see the red bead on the green key ring.) Only 2 are pictured but as soon as comments go over 200, I will make another one. Or two. Or three! (Winners will NOT choose colours of their prize.)
So, how can you get a chance to win one of these fabulous prizes? Very easy. Leave ONE (1) comment on this post (not any other post on my blog) and have an active blog (meaning that you update it at least once a month) or a valid email address (leave it in the comments or have it on your Blogger profile). You do NOT need to be a OWOH participant. Anyone can participate BUT I need to have a way to contact winners. Most people follow these requirements but if there is no way for me to contact you, I will remove your name from the entries.

Wow! So I’m amazed at how many people came to comment on my giveaway. 204 bloggers! (One couldn’t comment and emailed me so I included her.) I wanted to see what it would look like, on paper. So I numbered all the comments (after deleting double posts) and printed them before proceeding to cut them and fold them in half. I didn’t have a hat big enough so this empty chocolate tin box made due.
Alright, alright. I’m getting to it.
