>Mandala Crossing borders – Franchir les frontières

>

This mandala was drawn over the course of one evening. I started with the flower in the center and moved outwards. At one point, the mandala looked too much like a spiderweb and I didn’t like where it was going. So I added circles and darker areas and now, I think it looks better. It’s not one of my favourites but it has some interesting parts. I always draw my mandalas with my Sharpie fine point marker in a small journal made by my friend Hanna. It will be filled very soon, I’m sure, and I’ll probably make myself a square journal to make more mandalas.

    >I like how you started the mandala with the flower. A square journal sounds like just the thing for mandalas….I might have to make one, too. Usually I just use a small moleskine.

    >So glad you're filling that journal, makes me happy to think about you filling it up with beautiful black lines and mandalas! 🙂
