She’s baack! – La revoilà!

Hello dear readers!

I’m sorry for being gone so long without any explanation. Life got in the way of creating and blogging. Also, there was the wee matter of a break-up. But now I’m back and I’m here to stay… I hope!

I haven’t done many things in the past month except work, work and work. I started Nanowrimo and even though I’m still technically participating, I know I won’t have 50,000 words by the end of the month. And I’m ok with it.

I’ve been stuck in a rut, creatively speaking, so last weekend, I decided to participate in a small challenge (no prize, only the satisfaction of having done something!) The card above is the result of that. The challenge was issued by our local scrapbook store on their blog and on Facebook. My mother has been doing all their challenges so far and her projects are beautiful!

From now until the end of December, I will try to post at least once or twice per week but I will definitely be working on a new schedule and some projects for 2012. Until next time… have a nice day and smile! 🙂

  1. Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the breakup & your creative rut. I am just coming out of my very long rut now. Hopefully the round robin will help both of us with that 🙂 Lovely card!

  2. I’ve missed you! So glad to see you back although sorry to hear about the break up. I doubt that your creative rut will last too long. You always have so many great ideas.

  3. Welcome back! I’m doing NaNoWriMo, too…all the best with your novel. I love the card & I look forward to seeing more of your work. Blessings to You.

  4. Sorry to hear that you’ve been through hard times, it stinks that it has to happen (I know all about that) but I hope you can move on and stay creative, that’s what you/we need! 🙂 *hugs*

  5. I’m sorry you went through a rough time. Glad you’re back now. The card looks very cheery and festive. Still a couple of days left to write (I would have to write 25,000 words today and tomorrow to finish, since I didn’t even attempt it, this year. Oh well – there’s always next year…). Good luck with your writing – however much you’ve written, you’re way ahead of me, lol.

  6. It’s great to have you back…I’ve been checking now and again…viola!…here you are 🙂 Sorry about the breakup…that’s always very stressful on a person. Maybe getting back into your creative mode will help you through it? Have a good weekend!
