Happy New Year

CarveDecember.JPG

Hello friends!

My blogging muscle is a little sore so forgive my clumsiness but lo and behold! I’m back! Yes, I have decided that 2016 is the year to bring back blogging. I know that some of my friends miss it too and hopefully this will encourage them to get back to the blogosphere with me.

2015 was a busy year, as they usually are. Some bad stuff but a lot of good stuff. In fact, mostly good. I moved at the end of June to a bigger apartment which I love. I’ve yet to organize my studio but my plan is to get that done before my one year anniversary in this place. I’ve participated in a few art challenges over the year: The Documented Life Project for a few months, FMS Photo-a-day for about 6 months, Hanna’s Postcard SwapNanojoumo-The 15 minutes edition, Flood the Streets with Art on Black Friday, Carve December. I took some art classes with Els Van De Burgt, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer and Jodi Ohl. And I’m sure I’m forgetting some things. It’s been a very creative year but sadly, I didn’t share much of it on here.

Ok, so, I’m done for today. At the top of this post, you can see the 40+ stamps I carved in December. I love them!

Happy New Year! I wish you all lots of creativity!

  1. Bonne année Sophie! J’aime beaucoup ce que tu crées et aussi ce que tu écris. j’avais manqué quelques une de tes étampes dans Facebook. L’ensemble de tes étampes forment un tableau très intéressant! Au plaisir de te lire encore!
