I’m back with the second part of my ICAD creations for this year. In this batch, there’s a good mix of collage and doodling. It’s also where you’ll find a few of my favourite cards from this summer. Without any further ado, here’s the slideshow:
I’ll be back to my 365 Somethings in the next post. See you soon!
I know it’s been a while since I last wrote but with the start of a new school year, I have to get used to my routine and, to be honest, this time around, I’m especially tired. For those of you who don’t know, I’m an educator (not a teacher) and work with pre-k and kindergarten students (4-5 years old). It requires a lot of energy and patience!
Anyway, back to blogging. Last time, I told you about my cruise. Well, after I came back, I was land sick for over a week but, thankfully, I was still on vacation. However, I didn’t get back to my daily art and, in fact, I barely created anything until June. Which is when Index-Card-A-Day started. I love participating in ICAD because other than creating something on a simple index card on a daily basis, there’s no obligation. It doesn’t have to be a work of art. It doesn’t have to be done with fancy supplies. As long as you make something, anything, on or with your index card, you’ve met the challenge. And every time that I participate, I’m reminded of how easy it is to be creative when you adopt a daily practice and don’t get picky about your supplies.
I created a little slideshow of the first half of my cards and you can view it below. I’ll show the second half soon. Enjoy and come back soon!
