30 coasters and 700 posts – 30 sous-verres et 700 articles

It’s the last day of September and I now have a nice stack of zentangle coasters! I am looking for a good way to seal them so they can be used as real coasters. And if that works, I will put them in my shop. Meanwhile, today’s post is #700 and I thought it would be a good idea to have a little giveaway. So, comment on this post before next Friday and you will have a chance to receive your very own Zentangle coaster as well as an envelope filled with crafty goodness. Good luck and have a nice … Continue reading 30 coasters and 700 posts – 30 sous-verres et 700 articles

>Winners – Gagnantes

> I love making journals out of recycled materials. The paper for the pages was leftover from previous journals. I used the box from marshmallow squares to make the covers.  Last week, I decided to have a giveaway for my 600th post. Since I only received 4 comments (one of which is from my mother,) I decided not to pick a name and to give a journal to each of them. My mom left a comment without participating but she can get custom journals any time she wants! So, Janet, CeeCee and Melissa, you are all winners! Let me know … Continue reading >Winners – Gagnantes

>Update on 365 – Mise à jour sur 365

> As it turns out, I am not able to create one journal per day but I still plan to make 365 journals in one year. So, some days will see more than one type of journal being constructed while other days will be about gathering materials and inspiration (I already have 4 books on making journals and books by hand.) Over the long weekend, I’ve managed to create 3 different models. Comme je m’y attendais, il m’est difficile de créer un journal par jour mais j’ai tout de même l’intention de faire 365 journaux en une année. Alors, certains … Continue reading >Update on 365 – Mise à jour sur 365

>33 things and 3 winners – 33 choses et 3 gagnantes

> When I saw Elise’s mini-book entitled “25 things to do while 25” earlier this year, I knew I wanted to do something similar. So mine is called “33 things to do at 33.” I had this photo album for quite a few years. I removed the inner pages and used the covers to make my mini-book. I typed a list of 33 things I wish to accomplish before my next birthday. I’ll fill the book whenever one of those goals is met. I’ll show progress along the way. And now… the winners of my giveaway… The random number generator … Continue reading >33 things and 3 winners – 33 choses et 3 gagnantes

>Mail art book – Livre d’art postal

>  Two years ago, I saw this idea to transform a book and fill it with all the postcards, greeting cards and letters I receive by mail. This book has actually been done for over a year now but for some reason, I never posted about it. Well, it’s pretty filled up so I’m thinking of making a second one to hold the lovely mail art I received since then. Il y a deux ans, j’ai vu cette idée pour transformer un livre et le remplir de cartes postales, cartes de souhaits et lettres que je reçois par la poste. … Continue reading >Mail art book – Livre d’art postal
