Just for a little while…
My summer vacation is over and I’m going back to work at the school. I’m not complaining, just facing the fact. And it’s fine because I love my job. But it means I might be creating a lot of mandalas, zentangles and other quick art for a little while, until I get used to my schedule again. Then again, you never know when inspiration will strike.
Today being my last official day of vacation, I spent it with family members, shopping and hanging out (also celebrating my brother’s birthday.) I only got to do my art in the evening and ended up with a quick art journal page. When I say quick, I mean that I probably spent less than 30 minutes on it, including looking for a few items. This is the end result:
This is what I used: Americana acrylic paints with a brayer and a dry brush; Hero Arts ink dauber; alphabet stamp from Stampin’ Up (used to be a roller stamp); ink from Stampin’ Up; various washi tapes; American Crafts alphabet stickers; Gold Foil Color Bloom Spray; and my trusty Fude Ball pen.
